for what it's worth, my 4 door diesel sport manual gets about 11 to 11.5 litres per 100 round town and about 10.5 l per hundred average on the open road at 100kph. running in headwinds and running aircon this country figure can blow out to 12,5l per 100k. hope that helps.

It spins me out that Jeep did not offer the diesel in the sport and the rubicon. That being said, there is a black JK sport shorty CRD on ebay at the moment that says it has lockers. Is this a mistake?
probably after market lockers, dont think they are an option on the sport

ksk i asked a bloke who runs a jeep workshop, and he said the wranger jk runs a normal timkin bearing in the wheel bearings. i asked because my old xj had the american ball race system which i didn't like, so things have improved.

..Probably stating the obvious..but make sure you haven't drifted into EBay sites other than Aus. The rear locker..and front end disconnects are options in the U.S. on the Sports model...but no mention of a front end locker unless it's a Rubicon. We were to have the rear locker option here..but it appears to be in doubt now.
