Do you need to flexyrent this one ie for tax or are you purchasing outrright.

Cant beat the value of screwing together your own pc can build an absolute monster for about a grand these days.

But id still rather my mac

Yeah running games acan drain the battery in 15 mins i got a 17" screen 2.2GHZ CPU dual core superfast (small) hard drive bigarse GPU 8900 nvidia. it can over heat it self and shut down in 30mins easy unless really well vented

Go for a Vaio if you can. Top notch build and great 3d cards. Expensive as all hell but the latest in tech. Some of them rock Kevlar too.You can get a good one with Blu Ray for 2000-2500 dollars and dont forget to haggle with them.

Problem with gaming on a laptop is the graphics card will generate a lot of heat that the small volume of a laptop can't cope with - better off with a desktop for gaming I think.

I've got a macbook pro, best computer ive ever owned. Had it for over a year now, never crashed, runs faster than i can keep up. No viruses protection (none needed) Missus got the latest and greatest HP PC desktop about a month later. Its crashed about 100 times runs like a bucket of crap (Vista home) is slow as a wet week and is currently in the shop getting about a dozen trojans cleaned out of it. Guess what i prefer.
