We used plastic tubs for awhile - ie. 4 of them filled out the rear floorspace - they could be stacked or all 4 laid out etc. and worked great for cargo management. Unfortunately they were cheapies and broke up ages ago and strange as it sounds we haven't pursued getting (higher quality) replacements - I will do that asap now again that ur topic has reminded me (we've been running with an assortment of cardboard boxes meantime). Also the ones we got were basically storage tubs from the hardware store - ie. at least a foot deep and made to have lids clipped on - but I think i might try and find out where fishing boats get their gear and see if I can get heavy duty tubs about 6 or 8 inches deep.
