I can't get the 2 inch lift otherwise it won't fit in the garage, and wouldn't feel comfortable leaving it in the street all night.
So deciding on going 285/70/17. The obvious question is where or how do I get those black jeep rims? Do people buy them, or sand back and spray their stock rims.

Mine were powdercoated by the dealer. Don't know cost as I'm the second owner.

thanks for the replies.
another question, obviously got the stock 18s on it atm. Would there be an issue dropping to 17s and going to the 285/70/17?
Just thinking if i go something similar on the 18s it might be too high for the garage (clearance is about 1.95m).

Stock 18's should (were on mine) 32" diameter tyres......285/70x17 are 33" dia. So, that should result in a lift of about 12mm.
Now, whether you actually get 33" depends on what you buy....BFG's, for example, are known to run a smaller diameter than the tyre size would leave you to believe.

Hi all,
Can anyone tell me what the ARCHM4X4 2" lift kit is like for quality for basic offroading. They can be found on Ebay
No bars as yet and no towing
They're cheap at the moment at $600, so it seems a little TOO good to be true.
Cheers,

Shocks will be too short unfortunately and will top out.
