I have fixed my leak for now, but I do see slight wetness at the Banjo fitting, but as I will be doing more work, ie- fitting a larger cooler and gauge I will wait till then and fix it all once. I also see everyone fits a gauge after fitting a larger cooler. Just out of curiosity I will fit a temp sender and gauge first, then drive around making note of the temp's and then fit a new larger cooler. I know to much time on my hands, but I do still have 2 weeks off...
I did find that going into Pirtek that if you are unsure with anything the guy behind the counter will and did come out with his vernier calipers and measure it up for you and suggest what is a way of fixing things, I am thinking he has a better idea than I do. Just my 2cents worth.

It would be interesting to share those findings here. Data regarding this is somewhat hard to find sometimes. It would be nice to know if and how much of a difference it would make. Although I still think that there is a reason the AW4 did not come with a trans temp gauge for a reason...

Yeah I've also purchased the Gates brand auto trans hose from Burson's + I always use the fuel injection full rap hose clamps because of pressure rating/ clamp force
