Default mercedes benz in a jeep?

Hey im am new hear, and of course I have a problem I want to put a mercedes benz 300 desiel engine in it but have not figured out what tranny to use. any help would be great, I own a small coffee roasters on the coast of oregon, and there are some 200 foot++ dunes out here but I also have mountains but most of all we have alot of rain. Anyone who figures this out well I will mail you 3 lbs of fresh roasted coffee of your choice. sincerly eric edmonson

is it the 300D 2.5 Turbo?

If you want to put a Merc deisel my choice would be the 2.7 out of the current grand chero and the merc ML270

use the auto along with it

This would be a mega dollar setup but with 400+ nM of torque on tap before any mods it would be more than enough for a lighter Jeep

Would it be easy ?? Not really engine and gear box are computer controled this why I said also use the same gearbox as it makes the electronic side a little easier. Simpler to interface only external inputs than to have to re engineer the complete control

The 2.7L merc motor is also the current motor in the Sprinter range......

why not get one from a Gwagen? They have themin the US.. more so than here
