Default WH Snorkel - ChrisK Request

Some pics of the WH Grand Snorkel - Airflow Brand - Supplied & Fitted by CRDSTU

Some stats on it too.

Reduced my fuel consumption by 0.9 l/100k combined cycle (haven't had a chance for a long drive yet to check highway only) which i then stuffed by putting muds on and lost another 2.5l/100k.

Can only just hear the air sucking through closed windows, but not with radio on. Leave the window down for extra induction noise fun

Definately makes the jeep much meaner and more user friendly, Stu does a great job.... pitty airflow has that stupi corrigated piping for the intake and a strange adaption for the airbox not like Safari's version although I dont know if they make a snork for yours... But looks great well done Stu!!

Dave,
Thanks for taking the time to post up these pics. I hadn't seen the snorkel yet so these give me an excellent idea of how it will all go together. I am sure that a snokel is on the list of extras for my WH.... Once again thanks for your effort here.

HI Dave, Congrats on the birth of your daughter!

So you lost 2.5lt p/100 simply by putting on muds? Jesus! That sounds a bit drastic? Pressures all good?

Thanks Stu, actually might get some sleep in 2013

Its actually come back another l/100k, so the snorkel has just about evened out the muds.
