I modded my Jeep with the Crazynuts ESP disable mod. I may never use it but it seems like a good mod to have for sand.

Switch in place for the mod

Also add the Spiderweb Shade which turned up today, took about 15 mins and very impressed with the price and quality and service from this company. I went with the one that will give any passengers some shade also. Shade arrived within 10 working days from the US.

Just Fixing the massive amount of play in my steering caused by loose bolts causing the holes to get flogged out

Had a mate knock up 2 steel plates 10mm thick which I'll weld on the outside of the bracket on either side.

Note to self. Next time after going wheeling, run a spanner over everything to check all is nice and tight and this won't happen again.

Installed a winch rope protector since I cant do much at the moment.

If anyone is looking for one, picked up a 10mm x 5m one for $19.75 inc freight. Was pretty happy with the price then realised i had to pull all the rope off and slide it on from the other end! Oh well, was sick of being stuck on the lounge for the last 4 days and it got me out for half an hour.

Is that your track bar bolt? Looks like its been loose for a while given the flattened off threads in the middle. You checking its up spec tension wise?

I had an issue about 6 months ago and the nut had come off while wheeling and the play created caused the whole bracket attached the the axle to sheer off.
I think this started the wear on the bolt and the holes it passes through.
If you look at the second picture you can see how much bigger the hole has become because it was loose for a while.

I will be using new steel plates with 14mm holes drilled through them and a new high tension bolt as well.
