how much is the Hesco unit if you dont mind my asking? im still on the original unit at nearly 200,000km so will be doing it in the near future

Well...after the pressure test my mate mick the mechanic found a very small leak in the radiator....drivers side. He thought the leak was minor and chopped up this block of hash like stuff and stuffed it down the radiator hole. No more leaks......both me and the XJ are now smiling (lots).

Check the Hesco website. (There's a link on GoJeep's site.) I had a quick look and I think the XJ high flow pump was $150US plus freight.
Don't know if there's a local distributor. GoJeep might.

blocked radiator maybe ..that was the cause of my cooling problems

Hesco does not sell through any outlets at all either here or even in the USA. You will have to deal directly with them and have it shipped out. I picked mine up while I was in the USA and brought it home in my suitcase. Ask to see if they will do via USPS which is the cheapest via either surface mail, 2-3 months, or air, 2-3 weeks.
