Default reducing air box temp

gday all went 4x4ing at wilbanga(sand dunes) near perth and worked our way back towards perth last nite anyway

i notice that the temp was pretty stable except the air box was really really hot this resulted in reduction in power is there any way of reducing engine bay temp and reducing airbox temp

Snorkle, numerous advantages and reduced airbox temp is just one of them.

i wraped my airbox in a wind sceen heat sheild eg sun reflector made a big differnce see gojeep site but i wraped the box complely

yeah deffinataly want a snorkle but funds are an issue atm

where did you get the vents from and how much im very interested in thta i was talking to a mate about putting some on last nite when we stopped to let the car cool down a bit
