Well good its done, other way is to use a pry bar, but pressure on the drag link, then hit the bolt with a hammer, pops right out.

Well it's on and has done over 300 on road k's this weekend. It's firmed up the steering a bit with no more play on centre, the return to centre bit works a treat and the damping seems to be heaps better, the old one was knackerd though so I reckon any new damper would fix that bit. Overall very happy with it.

You get a reversible claw gear puller. Hook it on, wind the middle point against it and it pops off. I tried a 2 jaw($20 supercheap) but it would not latch on and go over the other close rod. I got a 3 jaw one($30 supercheap) and it worked great. I have a Rancho stabilizer and it works great(ZJ).

I sent my return to centre dampener back covered in oil as it s%$t itself after only 6 months, I am still waiting for the replacement but it has only been 1 week. they asked me if it had lot more than 40mm of oil and I said it has got oil all over it, he also asked if I had an adjustible pannard rod, which I dont. I had my 33's balanced and with the standard steering dampener back on it is running real noice.
