Thanks mate it's getting there. I handles just fine on the road.. It's no sports car but it's what I expected after talking with various people that have them. I've had no swaybar for the last eight months or so and to be honest it handles fine with none but it's nice having a little extra stability in the front especially on bad roads.

I built my own sway bar disco's when I fitted my first 2" lift but 6yrs ago when I went to 5" King Coils I ditched the sway bar and haven't run one since. To control the front end I fitted a pair of Munroe Magnum shocks to suit the rear of 80series L/cruiser with 14" travel. They have super H/Duty valving so way over stuff for the road but are awesome when rock crawling.
I'm now dropping the XJ down to 3"lift and softening the ride so I'll need a sway bar again. Will the stock swaybar do or after market better(like the look of the Anti-Roc), so I'm open for recommendations???

I don't have a camper but I've towed a enclosed 6x4 and it was pretty good the only real problem I get is the rear end being to soft with the flexy leaf springs I run, but I fixed a bit of that by lengthening the drawbar.

Really depends on what your looking to get out of it. The stock swaybar will work perfectly fine if you extend the links a little and it will give you the best possible handling on road but is very limiting off road. I personally can't stand using disconnects, I just find them inconvenient and most of the time I either forget to re connect them or simply can't! Hence why I took my swaybar off. I must have spoken to dozens of people about antirock swaybars including John Currie the company owner about the benefits of the system, so that's what I based my purchase off. My XJ Is pretty much a toy at the end of the day so a lot of my choices are made with that in mind. If your going to coffs this year I'd be happy to take you for a drive if you want to see what it's like and you could make an informed decision from there. Sorry it's a bit long winded but it's a fairly broad question.

John the chief editor is a personal friend of mine going way back. Great bloke and took me around all his favourite wreaking yards when I was over there getting XJ parts for me.
