Default Mopar Lift Kit - Aussie sourced shocks

Howdy All,

I have a 2013 JKU with a Mopar 2" lift fitted prior to my ownership.

Anyhow this kit (or replacement parts) is no longer stocked by Jeep Australia.

Shock P/No's
Front: XAU0064611022
Rear: XAU0064611023

No front shocks available anymore and only one pair of rears still in stock.
These are not the Fox shocks that are also available for the US sourced Mopar lift kit - and now that is the only one available at around $4k plus fitment

The lower bush on my LH front shock has vaporised, LH rear did it this time last year and that was under the 3 month statutory warranty.
The bushes were not available as replacements parts and the shocks only came as a pair.

Awaiting a call back from DBOR as to how much it will cost to replace both front shocks.
(Never do individual corners, always a front/rear pair)

Here's hoping its no too much and I can still afford to go away for a few days over the break.

Rant over.

Have a word with SBR. Even though they are in WA, they are super fast with their shipping. If what you need is in stock you will get it very quickly.

Thanks for the advice Jamie.

I am booked in DBOR for a replacement set of Fox shocks tomorrow morning.

The perils of only having one vehicle and job hunting.

You'll like the Fox Shocks, they are far better than the Mopar ones.

I replaced mine purely because the body roll was annoying me. The Mopar shocks I could compress like an accordion.

The Fox shocks I had to put my whole body weight on them to get them to compress so I could fit them. I was sore for days after fitting them in my garage LOL.

I thought about fitting them - but since not all of my tools are in this country (another blardy Kiwi) I decided to flag it.

Still kind of flabbergasted by FCA sourcing locally and not being able to support it long term. (5 years is hardly old)

Although I know I shouldn't be given some of the horror stories you read on here

I wouldn’t worry about that Snotgoblin. I’m on a number of forums including Toyota, Mercedes B, Landrover, VW, and you wouldn’t buy any of their vehicles if you were worried about what was posted on their forums.
