Have seen plenty of similar stupidity up on Fraser Island. Guys in their "off-road" Rav4's and Forresters attempting to take on the deep, powdery sand of Indian Head and the inland tracks that even some real 4X4s have trouble with, getting bogged to the doors, and then expecting you to drop everything and recover them immediately because they're looking bad in front of their nagging wives or girlfriends.
