I'm the happy customer that Matt's been working with. Too soon to tell the full extent of the improvements, but initial seat of the pants results are... oohhhh boy! I'm getting a bit old to be a boy racer, but I can't help but stick the boot in every time I drive the thing! The initial tune without the dpf delete gave a real good punch which peaked before calming down again. With the dpf delete, I first thought it was a step sideways, the big punch seemed missing. Then, I realised the punch comes in as soon as it takes off... and doesn't stop! I get pushed back in the seat and stay pushed back until I hit 100 kph+. It's now an exciting car to drive, and I mean exciting!! Proof is the ss Holden ute and the cammed vt commodore that came in 2nd and 3rd after a drag from lights. Also, some hotted up patrol with a big turbo'd rb30 tried twice to lose me. The 2nd time I actually had to slow down so I didn't run up his tailpipe. Ok, now I can back to driving sedately... Matt and his guys have come up with a real winner! Heading back up to Qld today, so will see how it goes over the next few thou k's.

Can the DPF pipe be fitted without a tune or would the car throw errors?

Hi
I am thinking about having a DPF delete and tune carried out on my 2011 CRD here in the UK due to my DPF blocking up every couple of months.
It's illegal to do this here due to the Euro 5 emission laws so my only concern is does the delete cause much black smoke to be visible when idling or pulling away ???

How many Nm did the torque get to? That's a nice curve. Plenty of low down torque
When are you going to make some more delete pipes is the big question?
We have 5 in stock right now. One is sold (Craig).

If you do the sums on the percentage of increase shown at the wheels, they work out like this:

Standard - 183kw / 570nm
Tune only - 212kw / 672nm
DPF delete / tune - 221kw / 701nm

No. The ECU will detect it.

Ok, I've only done 800km so far, but the fuel usage is:
784km/69.8lt. In my language that's 11.218km/l, 8.91l/100k, 31.7mpg.
( bowser to bowser) This is at 75% 110kph, 25% 100kph or less. Fully loaded with two-up.
I've recalibrated the ecu for my bigger tyres, and the speedo is now accurate to 0.1kph at 100kph, ( acc to no less than 3 good gps units) so it's interesting to note that the evic indicated 9.0 l/100km, not too far off the actual.
I'll continue to document as we go along... I love this thing! Fully loaded, and i can still boot it to pass and go from 80 to 130 in a flash

How did you re-calibrate the ecu for the larger tires? Can they do it with the tune?
