Yes, they aren’t as flash as the newer (and significantly more expensive) adjustable offerings from Teraflex etc, but from my research they should work just fine for the type of wheeling I do (mostly beach, fire roads and moderate trails to get to camping spots). The fact that I can easily adjust them to cater for the front/rear weight distribution of my set up, depending on my load, is a winner.
The only issues that I’m aware of is that the shock body paint quality/durability is hit and miss, and the adjusters can seize up over time. I’ll be giving all the shocks a few coats of heavy duty clear coat and removing the adjuster knob and packing it with grease before I install the shocks on the Jeep. Good preventative maintenance, particularly as I live on the coast and take my Jeep out on the beaches relatively frequently.
I’ll report back on the install and first impressions as soon as they arrive.
