hey when did mundaring close up i was in there about 3 weeks ago there was one section closed but only because the rally was on

It's all closed up now as of about 4-5 weeks ago. There is a newsletter on the naturebase website somewhere about it. The water authority closed it all because of the Helena water catchment area. The power lines are all thats legal now.

I'm keen to join the power line track day, i have a xj and i'll
be bringing along a friend of mine who has a xj as well.

I don't think they are blocked but I think they patrol the tracks. They will probably give warnings for a while before giving fines. As was explained to me by CALM 6 months ago the water corp is now using the Helena pipehead dam for drinking water & all the good hills like Blackoy & L300 are in the catchment area.
