I didn't think you could use just any LSD oil,it had to be a certain spec and possibly an additive as well ,for jeep?.

monte, check your manual, it has the specs there.

but for the front get 80/90 w diff oil and the back get the same, but with lsd addative. the bottle will say it has it added in it.

Just a question,
How much oil will you put in,if the rockcrusher diff covers are bigger and the oil plug is a lot higher, and if your diff is not rotated a great deal, the oil level when at the plug will be higher than the axle Check the height of your diff plug now and remember its location(its about level with the bottom of the axle inside the tube. Dana 44 that is) .
Wouldn't that make for to much pressure and oil to start blowing out of the diff breather.
Your normal diff in the rear takes just under 2 liters of oil,I am up to 2.5 liters,and still cant feel the level when doing a paper dipstick check to find the height,
