I have no problems waiting as I'm not going to put them on for a bit. Dont mind paying the extra if everyone else wants them sooner.

Exactly the same, these are from rockcrusher in the US but they still have some here in Australia that haven't gone there.

I should also add that these guys are not the manufacturer but rather a reseller with enough in stock to cover us, this is why thier price is a little higher as previously we have been dealing directly with the manufacturer.

Cheers
Steve

To answer some more questions I have had via PM.

The current status:-

We have an order with the factory, who are waiting on the foundry. An exact delivery date is unknown at the moment. We have paid no money to the factory, just reserved 43 covers with our order. We can cancel this order with no problems if we want to. Other suppliers such as McZook, who also made us an offer, are also waiting on this production run before an order can be filled. Basically most places in Aus have no covers, or not enough for an order of our size.

Since some people are probably getting impatient I decided to get a quote from a reseller who has enough covers in stock to fill our order. He contacted me a couple of weeks ago when he was alerted to this thread to say he had the covers in stock. I hadn't previously persued it as I was pretty sure the price would be more, as it turns out it's not a lot more. After getting the quote from him I thought it was worthwhile puting it out there especially since his shipping is potentially as cheap or cheaper than we can do anyway and we would have them within 7 days of ordering.

Cheers
Steve

An extra few dollars for shipping directly to an address rather than a central point in each state would make things easier for people who dont live nearby ( like me )

Either way I'm still happy

Thanks for the update steve and taking the time to pursue this and come up with an alternative.

Cheers

Matt
