Thanks guys. I can't remember the ones they recommended! (great lot of good I am! ). But they said they are really good lights, I am sure they will be a quality product if ARB stock them but I just wondered if "driving lights ain't driving lights" so to speak... or if I would be better buying cheapies. I think I'll just get it all done at once at ARB, probably the safer option.

I'll keep in mind the lightforce and IPF models you mentiond when I come to decision time. Thanks again!

Putting that aside - is it legal here in Oz? I thought you couldn't have a forward protruding bar like that... But I'm not an expert...

B.
Yes you are correct, I went to a site which sets all the regulations, I was doing a bit of research because I have just bought a bumper aswell. The bumper or hoop must not be pointing outwards, if you hit someone they are a gonner. The bumper must come inwards - towards the car at an angle. I know any bumper that has not gone through the testing in oz is illegal.

However you don't want a bumper which stands out and says Fine me I am illegal. No cop is going to spend the time going through all the specifications, they would only know the basic stuff ie fog lights on either side of bumper etc.

If your bumper stands out then its a yellow sticker, plus if you hit person/car you could be hit for damages without insurance.

I'll be having my new ARB bullbar fitted some time this week. Can't wait. I'm going to get lights too, as mentioned above. IPF 900 jobbies I think the guy said on the phone. I'll try and post a pic when its all done!
