Default Similarities/ Differences bwteen XJ and ZG

As some of you know I'm looking for a new car after the rollover incident with the XJ and I've been thinking about going for a ZJ. It's got a bit more room, it's a coily, it has a track chassis and of course it has that beloved 4.0L motor.

What I wanted to know is whether it also shares the problems or if it brings some new problems in to play.
Are the radiators still those crappy plastic things?
Do the steering boxes come loose?
Electrics??

I loved my XJ but I think I got a fairly good run out of mine and I'm not too keen on buying a lemon. If they ZG's had some of these problems then I think it could be something worth considering.

I tired searching for this info but didn't have much luck so even a link to another page would be great.

Thanks in advance
Harry

When we bought our Xj we had a look at the Zj and found it was smaller in the rear than the Xj and it seemed that there was even less availablity of parts than the Xj...

I have no issues with parts on my ZJ junglejuice.
Fisher, ZJ has the same unibody construction as an XJ.

It pretty much is identical, save for the:
Transfer case.
Rear coils.
Rear disks.
85L tank.
Styling.

Doesn't the ZJ also run CV's as opposed to Unis in the axles and driveshafts? These seem to be more fragile and more expensive than a Uni.

Cheers

Ok, it sounds like it might be better to stick with an XJ (if I'm going for a Jeep), I've got a 3" lift for an XJ just sitting in my shed just in case I come across gem.

The neat thing about a ZG is that everything under it, can be replaced with Wrangler bits- (suspension is the same) wanted to replace my TJ with one...
