Just threw on the Rubicon Express 3.5" kit I picked up second hand (springs, shocks and longer rear sway bar links - moved the stock rears to the front). Now sitting average 630mm wheel centre to guard front and 595mm rear.

After pulling out the Mopar coils the difference is amazing.. Its now a comfortable ride and not a bone rattler!

Now just need a new front bar to pull the nose down to level and all will be good with the world! (that is until I decide I want adjustable front panhard and rear drop brackets hehe)

All go in nicely Dave? Forgot to ask you if yours was a petrol or diesel.
Mine sat nicely (4 door diesel) with a arb bullbar though they are heavy. Was going to put that sale towards a winch(tigerz 9000) but now im doing brake pads and rotor dam.

Yes Dave, all went in smoothly, only issue I had was a march fly got me on the back of the neck whilst tensioning up the rear lower shock (from beside the vehicle). I jumped and the spanner in my right hand slipped off the nut and I punched the ground with my knuckles and scraped my bicep across the disc... Wasnt happy...

Just dug up the old stats and it went from 593 front and 572 rear to 630 front 595 rear. So its sitting 37mm higher in the front and 20mm higher in the rear. That will drop once the bar goes on the front in the near future.

Increase from stock is now 104mm front and 83mm rear... So much for keeping within the 50mm rule (damn, thats 4 inches in the front - def does not look it! Pic to follow in a few minutes.

Default RE Lift

That's a nice 4" lift dave - nice. I imagine they are long travel shocks as well. You will also want to look at front Panhard, rear Panhard bracket, brake line drop brackets, and definately LCA's. Might want to check with the other 2 door guys, but I have read about the front driveshaft.

Oh, and some 35's to fill those guards, then ratio's.

Ah, you thought the 2nd hand RE kit was a good deal. Put up a photo with the stock wheels??

Heading out to the freeway run tomorrow morning, went for a good run around town and a short 80km/hr stint this arvo and drives nicely. Little softer around the roundabouts as to be expected (already told the missus she needs to slow down on them).

Much, much, much more comfortable ride over small bumps in the road, potholes and speed humops etc.

Lined up a few pics:

Stock:

Mopar 2in (lifted 67mmm front and 63mm rear):

RE 3.5in (lifted 104mm front and 83mm rear):

And an angled shot with the RE:

And a side by side of the RE and the Mopar front ends:
