Yes..... Went for a good long drive today down the motorway, ran like a dream. Just noticeable was the bump steering from the rear end when going over humps at high speed, but not enough to be annoying. Will look into rear panhard relocation bracket in the near future, then front adjustable to bring the front back to centre.

Anyone care to comment on whether chassis drop or axle mount is better for rear relocation bracket?

I also had to mount the RE rear swaybar links on the inside of the bar so they would clear the tyres, but now look like at full swing on the rear may foul on the chassis? Havent tried that to find out tho.. Maybe the swaybar relocation brackets might be the go. Looked at the bar and its quite close to the exhaust, I imagine the relocation brackets mus have to move it from above to below the exhaust.. Oh, and I need to make up some rear brake mount relocations, no biggie just didnt have any bolts handy...

chassis mounted drop will probably smack into your LHS shock. Plus you're adding extra leverage on chassis mount without adding any reinforcement which isn't a good idea unless you're mechanically oblivious.

Axle mount you need to have bump-stopped the rear end but they lift the panhard rod higher and can be braced along the axle tube very easily as to not overload the standard mount.

Think about whether you want to keep the extra ride height before you change it though.

Yeah, good point Yom, will wait a little while til I am sure its staying like this before I do anything so permanent (didnt realise they sliced off most of the originals on the axle mounting so there is no going back - just been looking at some of the instructions). I havent bump stopped the rear (or front) yet, but since shocks still have another 30mm travel remaining at stock stops it will only be required to reduce travel for other components.

Its not to bad actually, so I can put up with it (compared to the bone shattering ride of the previous coils the bump steer it's nothing!).

Saturday fitted the new wheels & tyres: Rugged Ridge hub centric wheels 17 x 9 with 4.5" backspace, Mickey T MTZ 315/70/17 measure 34.6"
They stick out past the flares about 1.5" so a flare mod will need to be done
The heavier tyres highlighted my worn track bar bushings giving the jeep a wheel shimmy over bumpy roads, New bushes will go in this week,
Can any one using this size tyre on their JK tell me what pressures you run on the road & in the rocks? & is any one using 5:13 gears with a petrol auto

Dave, go with the axle mount. The axle mounted panhard relocation has an additional advantage to what Yom said over the chassis mounted ones in that they lift the roll centre of the Jeep. Higher roll centre = flatter cornering and removes the tendency of a lifted vehicle to wallow through the corners. Both Poly Performance and AEV make decent axle mounted relocation brackets.

Good point guys, shame about the US version being for the wrong side, prices are really good at the moment!
