Default Rancho

Hi Nemesis, I have the R 9000Xl on my Jk unlimited. I did have PP coils, and during this time ran them on 3 front, and 1 rear for daily drive. if i am on a country drive, or am towing the camper, I move the front up to 5, and the rears to 5 depending on the weight. I have now moved to a heavier front coil as I have the CRD so have increased the front to 5 around town, and have also increased the rears to 3, as I prefer a more balanced feel. The firmer front seems to keep the front end under more control, less live axle movement.
Tom

any experience with these shocks as to what setting it should be?

Gotta sort out the brake extensions and bump stops first!

I have just had a 2" lift kit and coils put in (Tough Dog). I really want to put 285/70/R17 on standard 17inch rims. Do I need to do anything else to the vehicle? Some of the threads mention backstops?

I think you mean bumpsops.
Check out our starter kit here for example, and delete the products you dont need.
