Default Victoria tyre rules

I'm just wondering how enforced the bigger tyre rules are in Victoria as I'm contemplating on staying fully legal with 295/70r17 or 305/70r17, or running the gauntlet a little, not going too crazy and running 315/70r17.
This is inconjunction with a 2 inch lift and flat fenders, so not crazy high so not to stand out.

I'm moving from NSW to Vic at the end of the month, and wondering how strictly the rules are enforced. It's not like I'm going 4inch lift and 37's

i am from south east melbourne and right now they are using the lockdown as an excuse to go over cars for any defect.:/

But normally its not to strict as long as your car is neat and not rough looking, but there is some cops that just hate 4wds and will defect you regardless even for legal mods, had a mate get defected for lift and bald tires by one of the notorious cops, and he only had a 2" lift and 50-60% tread left.
