There is no authority that decides this question. It's up to a club to put their hands up to host it. The last three have been at NSW Watagans - Central Coast (Cherokee Club), Victoria (MJOC), and now NSW Blue Mtns (SJOC).

Time for SA to host it I reckon. Club needs to make a decision and then put their plan to CJD for them to agree to fund it.

Being in Adelaide and new to the Jeep brand I'd love it if SA held it!

would be one helluva road trip for most of us eastern dwelling Jeep owners.

It's not that simple, or that easy, CJ and it's dealers do not fund the Jamboree, it is the individual club that host it that funds it (with the assistance of their sponsors - one of which might be CJ), and the attendees fees.

The risk lies with the Club. Clubs considering this should really talk to former Club hosts to gather information on the level of involvement both in terms of effort and finance that is required. Former club hosts can provide a great deal of insight into the processes that need to be in place to successfully organise a Jamboree.
