Default Losin the love

I am towing 3+ton van ...In last 12 months have replaced radiator, thermostat (twice) and radiator cap (twice) and 2 coolant hoses ,rear or motor and low right hand side .
After hose at rear of motor replaced and 100 + ks down the highway we drop into limp mode throwing service ETC . After 4 different mechanics/auto electricians , all told me the same things with scanner.. lost contact with reversing camera and lost contact with intelligent battery server? but sorry won't touch it , take it to jeep .in Mt Isa at the time and nearest Jeep dealer is Townsville . 6 week wait to even look at it .Finally Hervy Bay dealer says 2 weeks and your in ok . Limps all the way around Qld and finally into the work shop . 1hour later they say job done , it was a loose connection on battery and now tested and clear for you to go. (Yeah I know that was 1of the 1st things I looked at , must be blind )
Hook up and head for highway 30 odd k's awesome . Turn onto highway and back into limp mode ,not awesome . 2weeks to get Jeep to look again codes given now , 1-PO234-00Turbocharger Over Boost Condition and 2-POOAF-00 Turbocharger and it will be 3 weeks before it can be looked at/repaired .
Absolutely no probs without the van on but no I'm not about to sell the van . Went and saw mechanic at Jeep Spares here in town . He checked all with scanner then pulled the map sensor out, gunked badly says to pull intake manifold out, clean and fot a catch can.
Does this seem the cause for overboost? Interested in comments and advice .

Quite possibly as the MAP sensor can cause all manner of problems when clogged as the computer gets wrong data....... too many wrong signals and it will go limp as its totally confused, happens on many vehicles and even trucks so not a Jeep thing............ I pull mine every 40K and give it a hit with sensor cleaner and run a catch can to try and keep the crap out of the intake hoses and manifold.

Have just pulled map sensor out and it seems clear just slightly oily . Should've said also that mechanic did clean it up then put it back . This morning I hooked up the van to see if any better but after I hit the highway again ,bingo , limp mode again.

This model turbo actuator infamous for causing these problems. As in, turbo actuator needs replacing.

Are these models Mercedes engines? If so I would avoid stealership or other mechanics and find a euro specialist.

In Townsville, all my euro cars have always gone to Hans at European Car Specialist. There is no better in my opinion, he is ‘old school’ BMW trained in Bavaria in the old days. https://www.localsearch.com.au/profi...ajong-qld/2icf

WK2 diesel engine is by VM Motori. An indy Jeep mechanic or at least a diesel specialist would probably be a better bet.

Yep, a VM Motori, Italian power plant well by name but has been owned by nearly every car manufacturer in the world thats why you find their engines in many different brands.

If it did it again after MAP cleaned then a good chance its not the MAP but if your intakes are full of gunk,
