Don't mean to upset people but:

I hope the KK snorkel doesn't look like the one they made for the KJ. I still don't get why they didn't cut into the fender right above the little indicatorlight, instead of running a pipe on the outside.

If you saw how it fits into the airbox, you'd understand!

The snorkel fits into a hole cut in the side of the airbox close to the wheel arch. Open your bonnet and have a good look - if you can see how you could get into the airbox from where you suggest I'll believe you are a magician. Either that or your eyes need testing!

I thought like this:

You can see a hose running under the fender. That's imo possible on our KK/KJ's too. The connection to the airbox would stay the same.

Then it would look more like this (the snorkel..duh...)

There is not a chance that would have worked on a KJ Tony, but the KK's coachwork is slightly different

If they made the snorkel as you describe, I'd have to relocate (or cut a hole in) my TCM.

So I'm glad they didn't. Plus, it's more of a straight shot. Heck, look at the TJ Safari snorkel if you want to see a butt-ugly one

Wowsers! That internal monocoque body is damn close to the KJ's although the 2 internal panels look much closer together. Hmm.. Might have to get Gibson's to send me up some shaping foam.......
