Even a ARB colour coded winch bar (duluxe) costs around $1200 for a TJ, so what are you venting about . They all cost, and you get what you pay for, by that I am not saying that the Warns are bad but they are about as basic in design as you can get.
ARB, TJM bars etc. are made from 3mm steel, Hanson's are 5mm, maybe stronger, but alot heavier.
I brought my Hanson over four years ago (first in Aust and before Cal set up shop), to replace my ARB bar. The Hanson actually worked out cheaper but only coz it came over for free.
The only suggesting I have is save, save, save and get what you actually want. Or make your own like SteveF did.

It is a TOTALLY different vehicle with a TOTALLY different mounting system. The reason why TJ bars are so 'cheap' is that the chassis sticks out about 10 inches from the front panel so its just 4 bolts straight through. No mounting of it flush with lots of bolts and angles annd stuff.

The sheer simpliciity of the mounting system on a TJ means that you won't be able to get a bar for as cheap as a TJ one without making one yourself.

Yep, make one and come in around $120 for a bar like the one you pictured, maybe a little more with a winch mount, or get one made and pay more. The XJ mounting system is pretty basic as well if you just tie into the existing bolts and the aditional one further back up the frame. Once you start tieing into the holes on the front crossmember that the stock recovery brackets use it gets a little harded but not too much. My bar took me about 24 hours in labour but I didn't really have a huge plan and am new to fabricating, I reckon a professional place could build it in half the time.

Cheers
Steve
