Default Brakes now...

ok now the brakes are seizing up on the front end...

No signs of brake fluid leaking anywhere but I can't retract the piston on the caliper at all, even with a c-clamp... I'm guessing the calipers are shot.

Replacing all the brakes on the front was one of the first things I was planning on doing but was hoping it would get through it's blue slip first, guess not...

So what would esteemed brake guru's recommend to replace my old stock brakes with? Any particular brands that I should be looking for or just go with whatever fits my vehicle.
Off the top of my head I'd be replacing the Calipers, rotors and pads and may as well throw on some new braided brake lines while doing it I reckon.
Fell free to impart any tips, secrets you have for this.

Cheers

This happened to me on my WJ after a muddy run with a long drive home. PBR sell a rebuild kit, easy as to do. Take caliper off, user compressed air to pop the seized piston out, clean, replace seals and your good to go. Put a bit of wood in the caliper and a towel over the top because she comes out with a shitload of pressure.

On Oz Ebay, new Caliper $145..overhaul kit + piston $75..your choice

to get the piston out, I find it easiest to use the vehicle hydraulic brake system.

using a hammer & screw driver, patiently work the caliper off the disc, wet it if needed

once the caliper is off, pump the piston out using the brake pedal

Yeah my original plan was to replace all the old stock parts with new so I'll probably just do that.

Then I can make sure it's all smick before testing etc (just means it'll drop QLD rego first but it doesn't really make much difference...
