Default Stock Radiator

I recently replaced my radiator but still have the stock radiator (2.5VM TD, measure approx 80cm x 30cm). The current cooling system runs cold in cold weather.

So I was thinking of fitting the stock back in during the one cold month of the year in Queensland, or if I ever do a trip to tassie or highlands etc I would fit the OE radiator. Does anyone know of some one that does a cheap replacement or perhaps a recore for the stock radiator?

I got mine at Repco. $25 for the top hose and $45 for the bottom. Forget now but I think the brand was "Gates"?

Careful getting the stock radiator refurbished. The metal tabs holding the tanks on either end have to be bent open and then bend closed when finished - and they arent supose to be bent open and closed as it weakens the metal (as i found out after the case !!!) and creates a reliabilty problem.

Wanna buy a cheap second hand refurbished TD radiator ??????
