Default 2014 WK2 Purchase

G'day All,

Getting close to dropping the hammer on my first wk2 after 3 WH's.

Looking at a early 2014 plate diesel Laredo - Anything out of the ordinary I should be keeping an eye on? Has just over 60k on the clock and meticulously maintained and is in tip top condition.

I'm after the pov pack due to issues with add-ons in the past, it has the tow pack and cloth seats which suits me well, tow a 7m boat every fine weekend.

Just after some advice from the gurus.

Cheers

Try to find you what it was used for, if heavy towing the Wafer Cooler line for the turbo is a known problem, seen them go at 70K, light work 120-150K... but you will need to replace it. $180 part, many hours labour, job usually costs $2K at stealer ship. Once engine over heats IT will do a head gasket..... $4k+

Awesome mate thankyou. I'll get it looked at straight away. The other one local enough to me is a nanna rig apparently, worried I'd have to upgrade suspension etc immediately.

Since I have only recently bought one I can't remember exactly why but my research pointed to anything 2015 or later I ended up with a late 2015 build with 40K on it, tow pack but no brake unit so thought that was a good sign for no caravan...... can only think of some engine or tranny upgrade would have pointed me that way.
