Hi fellas this is the filter you require when ordering
http://brettsfilters.com.au/p/595365...36-r2736p.html

When you order just let them know ( You require the OEO105 NOT the OEO108 ) as you need the O-RING closer the the end of the snout,
agree they need to update their listing, I will have to let them know next time I go in, but I certainly wouldnt be overlooking a Quality Product because of some prick on the end of the Phone who wont listen to reason, Its a shame really to hear of your experience Drover as every time I have been in there, they couldnt do enough for you, very helpful.

I have successfully used the Cooper Wesfil WCO154 without dramas, as it has the O-Ring down near the snout

If anyone's interested I recently bought one of these kits, it arrived on time and was as described.

Some time ago FCA changed the oil recommendation from 5W30 t0 5W40 and I have been using the latter ever since.

At the same time they also changed the filter and I switched from a WCO251 to a WCO201. The difference was that the 154 had the O ring closer to the body and the WCO201 had the O ring towards the end of the spout.

Looking online I can't see a difference between the WCO154 and 201 any more - does this mean that Wesfill have changed the 154? I'm confused now.

Cheers,

DM

I think the pics on most places are not always correct.......find the same for the Ryco listings and others.......

I used 5W40 before I even found out about the oil grade change.

When I last used Wesfil, Western Filters told me 154 is no longer in production and they sent me 201. Now I just use Ryco, for no other reason than it's on the shelf at Autobarn 2 km's away.
