Can anyone confirm where these relays are located please? According to the handbook they're in the small box on left side of engine bay, but the diagram in the book doesn't look the same as mine inside.
Is my photo showing the correct location/box, if so which are the DRL relays?

I've now pulled the relays to disable my day running lights. There's a few reasons I did this (purely my opinion, I respect others may have different views!):
1. DRL's add little if any value to see or being seen. We have a lights switch with auto function for that.
2. I've seen a number of cars around with one DRL blown, not a good look.
3. The DRL's needlessly pull from the already overworked battery (and consequently alternator)
4. Heat from the lights (probably less so for models with LED's) causes clouding of the headlight lens over time. Why encourage it with permanent-on DRL's?
5. There is no legal requirement to run DRL's in Australia even though most imported cars now have them. Hence the JGC handbook refers to the option of disabling by pulling the relays. Although the configuration of relays in the box does vary between models.
