Default The Jeep is acting strange Possibly the TIPM

Hi everyone
My jeep has let me down For the First time I went to the service station And filled up my jeep crd And when I jumped back in And put the key in the ignition And turned it on to standby I noticed that all the dash lights Won't working And then my Wipers started going crazy I tried turning them off but there was no control So I turned on the jeep It ran fine But would not shift into gear It is an automatic So I Called up crdstu On here He was very helpful And Gave me some tips I tried for approximately An hour Wriggling The wiring harness And Hitting the TIPM BOX Then I gave up And I called up jeep Assist They Came out quickly I told him what had happened And went to show him what was wrong However It worked perfectly fine When I showed him

My jeep is a 2010 crd Unlimited Automatic

Have your battery load tested by a mechanical load tester not the newer electronic units.

These things can do all sorts of weird stuff when the voltage starts to get a bit low.

Hi I don't think it is The battery But I'm not going to Crossed it off my list Just yet it

My jeep has very Low kilometres 25000 And has always been meticulously serviced
If it is the TIPM How hard is it to replace Or is it just easier to get the dealer to do it I really want to work out exactly what it is As I do not want to be stuck out in the middle of nowhere

Can anyone give me any more ideas

All my electrical work is done Separately Using a spod

I'm going out now To have a look at it
Update Just voltage checked my battery It is reading 12.4v On the multimeter

Just thinking Could my 90w hid spotlights Be the Problem As they are not Wired through the spod But through The xray Quickfit Heavy Duty Wiring Harness It Plugs into the back of Your headlight To activate when highbeam is on

Resting voltage on a battery doesn't really count for anything.

I had an Optime D34 yellow top that was reading 12.9 via my Fluke meter resting but the bus bar had collapsed in the battery. It read great voltage but wouldn't even crank the battery.
