Default How many km have you gotten ?

Just wanted to see what people have gotten out of a 2.7 crd wg/wj. How many km are you currently at and what have you had to replace ( big stuff ) to keep it going?

I'm currently sitting at 320,000km full original parts. Only thing replaces was alternator.

Open for anyone with a wg wj with any motor.

I'm at 233,000km on my CRD and have only had to really replace the injectors, I have also put a new pump and a few sensors like cam/crank angle and fuel pressure regulator and idler pulleys and bearings.

Apart from that the engine is 100% original, I am considering replacing the water pump as a preventative measure.

2004 2.7crd. Currently 179,000km, just replaced injectors. All fluids, radiator was 60% blocked, even after flush, so new radiator. Didn't have overheating issues though. Poly bushes everywhere underneath(absolutely everywhere). Old were softs, no failures or wobbles.
Biggest problem other than crap mechanics, has been a 10c oring on the fuel filter-pump hose

yeah i also had the o ring on the fuel lines. i also had to replace an injector and rear wheel bearing.

Im still very surprised how bad people think these car are but i honestly think it comes down to the mechanic working on it. i know some parts are pretty expensive compared to other vehicles but if you hunt around for after market parts you can normally find a good price. also now that these cars are turning up more and more in the wreckers second hand parts are becoming more available. I do all my own work on the car and save the money in labor.

317,000 for me. I've had it a year and had to do a bit of work on the suspension (was used to cart a van around).

I've had to replace the HP fuel pump (not nearly as expensive as I was fearing), the starter motor and the front drive shaft.

Otherwise running well. Had to replace the transmission shifter module PCB. It was giving me the P0702 code for 12 months before getting stuck in limp. I replaced old unit with this one, highly recommended. http://jeepswj.com/

Otherwise it's running great. Rear locker. 2 inch lift. Front disconnects. Snorkel. 9500pd winch, 265/65/17 ATs. Never got stuck (so far) and had to winch a couple of Prados and a Land Cruiser out.

Get's me where I want to go in the Brindabellas and beyond.

I have had my '04 WG for a year now and it just hit 280,000 last week. So far I have had to replace injector seals (black Death), the starter and the shifter board (got the jeepswj one mentioned above). Replaced the shocks yesterday and have new springs on order. Have also had a circuit board or something, can't remember exactly what it was, replaced in the bottom of the transmission. It seems I bought someone else's problem but the way I see it is that when I am through I will have a pretty nice rig that will last me a long time.
