27000kms on a CRD, its been perfect no issues. The torque gives lots of guts around town and has a good turning circle in 2wd. Offroad if you are going to need more than 31s not the car for you. But its great for beach driving and climbing trails in luxury and getting to camping locs.

I've just clocked 100,000km's, and there's been a few things pop up, but fortunately, nothing that was extremely serious, or difficult to remedy under the warranty

- Front control arm needed replacing at about 4,000km's after it's first trip to Stockton
- Mygig Radio has been updated twice (in the end updated myself using the internet as my guide - cause the dealer didn't have the latest build)
- Needed a new starter motor at 98,000km's - still started the car, but after a god awful crunching noise

In regards to off-roading, I'm a regular sand driver, and have taken it through the dirty rocky hills of the Wattagans, and through some mud trails in the hunter, and there's only realy 2 problems with the KK

1. It's ride height is low off the show room floor. But ever since lifting it, I have not had any problems.
2. When sand driving, the gearbox overheats regularly, as it's trying to find the best gear to use. This can be minimised using the gear selectors, but is still present. And it's an easy fix - pop the car in neutral, and wait 5 minutes.

Arghhhh - chews through the petrol!!! Currently mine's chewing out about 13L/100km highway, 20L/100km city

I've got the CRDSTU lift and this has enabled me to take the Jeep pretty much everywhere!!! Even with the slick stock tyres and 18" wheels...

Yep, got the petrol, and its a very thirsty car....

I get roughly 370km's out of a tank (city driving) which calculates about 17-18litres per 100km's.

It was better than that originally, but with the extra weight of the bar and the roof cage, I've lost about 40-50 km's a tank.
