Default Anyone dropped a Pentastar into 3.8 jeep?

Was wondering if it was an easy swap from the 3.8 to the pentastar or has it been vastly modified for the newer engine?

As Dave said, doubt there will be any call for it and as such no research into whats required.

As the Hemi kits are done and dusted why would you bother doing a new build for that engine when you can do so much more already with the Hemi or Chev for cheaper and tried and tested.

Matt.

I can think of one possible reason to go for a pentastar over a hemi. It would be much easier to get it engineered and therefore keeping it legal.

isnt the obvious answer, why not sell your 3.8L JK, and upgrade to a penstar. 3.6. will be cheaper in the long run.

SOrry more info required to be given obviously.

My big end bearing may be had it and if a rebuild is on the cards it may be cheaper to go a recond engine in the long run or find another powerplant.

What is the cheapest way to get a hemi or chevy engine in. I would think that would be pretty expensive and then need to be engineered?
