Around post #34 you noted the water level in the radiator was going down, which tells me there is a leak in the rad cap/ overflow system. If the cooling system can't hold pressure the coolant will boil at 100*c. Are you still losing coolant? ...When you remove the rad cap when the engine is cold the water level must be level to the brim.
