Good looking unit mountainman. What kind of battery system are you using for your fridge? It looks like you have something tucked down the lefthand side. Is that where your battery is?

Still only have a single battery. Thats the CD stacker you can see.
Spent heaps of time poking around under the bonnet to try and squeeze a second battery in - but decided its going to be easier to put it in that little pocket in the back behind where the spare wheel used to be. Will have to cut the plastic and fab a cradle but thats no biggie. Am going to start with it ASAP now Christmas maddness has finished. Definatley will have it done before the Tassie trip at the end of the year.

I'm thinking the same way - similar to Go-Jeeps system. I don't want to be carrying around an extra battery unnecessarily all the time.

It also means that I can drain a deep cell battery regularily using the fridge while outside the Jeep and then recharge the battery in the Jeep afterwards. This is suppose to increase the life of a deep cell which would normally die if only used once or twice a year.

What kind of battery and isolator are you thinking of?

Not sure yet - still lookng at options. Price will be the main criteria for the battery. And just a garden variety management system, there is a "no-name" system that Battery World sell that looks like it would do the job. But still gathering info.
