Default Diesel slow fill Service Bulletin Number

Group: Fuel
Service Bulletin Number: 14-002-09

Parts:
Vent filter,
Vent Tube,
Vent Line,
Recurculation Line,
4 x Tie Straps
(He said the parts quickly so I think thats right)

It is a general service bulletin so it will not come up if your dealer types in your chassis number.
They must use the number above to find it.

Good luck everyone

This is also posted in the self help thread but I didn't want it to get buried amongst chit chat so made a new thread.

Thanks Festa. Took mine in for its 30k service this morning. Blokes are aware of the TSB but "will need to have a look at it" before actually ordering the kit (2 week wait for the parts). This is despite me mentioning it 2 weeks ago when I booked it's service
At least the wheels seem to be turning on this...very slowly.

I feel your pain mate, my local Jeep service dept didn't know it existed.

After sitting in his office for 5 mins looking on his computer for it, he gave up and actually asked ME to go away and find the TSB number for HIM and when I had it to email him the details.

As far as I could tell he didn't believe me and was just trying to fob me off.

So I rang the dealership in the city where I bought the car and 60 seconds later the guy at Wanneroo Jeep is telling me everything I needed.

I couldn't write it down fast enough

Now as you say it's a waiting game!

With this service bulletin is it repaired under warranty? Or do we have to pay for the kit and fitting?

It is supplied and fitted at no cost to you what so ever as long as your vehicle is suffering with the slow fill problem, it is a diesel and if it was manufactured before 16th Jan 2009.

They are not going to fix it if it isn't broken.
