Great work there Wraith. Good luck with the cowl panel. Here is some pics of my finished and during project. As this was my first attempt at something like this I would take the tub off next time. It was supposed to be the same orange as the late model TJ's but it is different, turned out to be a mopar impact orange.

It has come up well.
What is the deal with cutting the strange shape hole in the roof? Was there rust there is did you have another roof to replace this one and cut metal from this to patch other parts?
Also does the roof bolt off on these from the drip rail up or was all the spot weld welds drilled out to remove it?

GMEMUD yours has come up excellent, looks like your bonnet has flown up at one stage, Mine has down that too . looking in the pic ,your bonnet has a little rust in the front corners, did you put fresh metal in there

Gojeep There is about 10 or so bolts at rear and the roof comes off on a CJ10, and then you can drop the windscreen down on the bonnet if you want, same a CJ5,6,7,8.

I drilled all the spot welds on mine so as I could re seal the drip rail and replace 2 rusted pieces of channel

Yes the bonnet has had a "moment" at 110kph in the middle of the night out in the whoop whoop and I had to change my undies before I could do anything else, forgot to put the side clips on didn't I.
Those odd shape holes in the roof is where I cut out bits of the old roof to repair rust else where. That roof was too far gone around the edges to repair so I got another from Jeeeparts that just needed a little straightening.

Thanks for that info. Might fit one of these roofs to my Willys pickup. I prefer the lower height from the drip rail up and looks like it is wider too. Have to do some measuring when I get up to that stage.
Either of you guys be able to give me a rough width and length including the gutters?

Hop to use it whole for sure. If I had to cut it up I will just use a couple of Willys ones instead.
