Have ordered the Chief rails, but they don't seem to have any planks or trays in stock. So will probably go down a similar route to yours.
What size Rhino tray did you go with?

1528 x 1236 - fits perfectly. About 2cm overhang either side of the rails and flush with front/back.

Apologies if I am revising this topic, but has any one taken the headliner down and bolted a bracket through to the inside like Ronny Dahl has done on his hilux?

it was easy to fit the pioneer tray. and you are right tonnes of mounting points so was no need to do any drilling .

I have the Chief Full Roof Rack System fitted to our 2019 Laredo. Mounted to that is a Darche Eclipse 180 V2 Awning (highly recommend) and four Maxtrax on mounts and in a Drifta Maxtrax bag. The bag I got in the process of trying to eliminate a bloody loud whistle that developed once I fitted a flush style of Maxtrax mount. The whistle wasn't there when I had a mount that raised the Maxtrax about 50mm above the rack. The whistling wasn't reduced by the use of the bag (kept it on, looks great and helps keep prying eyes/sticky fingers off the Maxtrax) but disappeared once I fitted a length of black composite decking plank in the gap between the two roof rack planks above the included Chief hidden air dam. This completely blocked the gap between the first and second plank https://www.ausjeepoffroad.com/forum...=160177&page=3 without affecting the usability of the rack.

How do you find your lightbar placement? I've been mulling putting one flush underneath the platform like yours, but the platform sits quite a way back on these and worry it would have a decent % of the output blocked by the roof. Other option is a Stedi mount which raises it up a few cm in-line with the front of the platform
