Default Power window problem! Need help

Ive just bought my XJ and the rear door window wont wind up. Its stuck down. The others work ok.
Can anyone give me a tip on how to manually cycle it up or maybe which part is dicky?
Very frustrating!

The motors probably worn out, only way to get it up will be to remove the actuator from inside the door and lift it manually..

It could be a switch, if you pull the door card off and unplug the connector off the motor and put a test lamp across the two terminals in the plug and operate the switch the lamp should light up, if it does it is most likely the motor, if it doesn't then it is most likely one of the switches, either the master of the slave switches.
Is it an update or pre-update as I have pre-update parts that I have tested.....

Like JJ said more likely a switch cause lets face it unless it has been used a lot more than the drivers one, a motor in the back is not overly likely to give up. On your door switches is there a little green LED? If there is power that should light up.

Try both switches and wiggle them both to death... It got mine going...
