So it is sortable if it got to bother you.
Stupid design that hinge pin.

At least you dont have a floppy flap.

I did my fuel flap on my old 2014.
A pain getting it off, stretched the rubber bit around the filker pipe.
Re pushed the nylon fuel flap door pin back down, touched the bottom of the pin
with a soldering iron so it wouldnt work its way up again.
My “new” 2015 had the same issue when i bought it, dealer replaced it prior to me buying it- thank god !!
I wonder if you remove the interior rear quarter trim, you could probably reach in and re position the hinge pin back in without having to rip it out?

The filler point is all located in the wheel arch nothing inside the vehicle, you need to remove the wheel arch trim to get at it, found that out when I had to fix the drain hose which had become blocked as the zip ties used to hold it in place were done up too tight, big pain and I only pulled it half off ... I was toying with the idea of replacing the filler with a standard one with cap but after fixing the hose gave it all a miss as the tanks wouldn't handle fast fill anyway and my stubby holder cap has proven itself to keep dust out of the filler mouth.
