I'm guessing a 19" (wide) equipment rack 42 units in height. Like the stuff server and pro audio gear gets mounted into.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions

PS - Prepare to drop fuel consumption Avg L/100 will be affected.

I've considered removing the Front Runners when not in use, but its just a hassle doing it. Storage as well.

Spot on about the 42U rack. Typical IT Server room cabinets. We have a geekster here it would seem.

Ah right, didnt consider that. And when not using the rack I’d prefer the stock look I think. I have a couple of trips planned in the next 2 weeks but might try removing it after that

Yea, on average I have lost 1lt per 100, around town and maybe not quite so much on the highway. Though stick a load on the rack and watch it go up, but that's the price you pay for travelling ....

I know the deflector supposed it make it wind resistant or noise, but I often wonder if the deflector actually causes it to slow down holding it back more than anything. Having that large roof rack really makes you feel the wind!

Default Stuck with front runner roof rack install

I have one bought last year and no problems attached is a picture from top side.
As someone else said try loosening all screws for the cross bars then align everything.
