Default 96 Xj Cherokee Classic wrecking BNE

ITEM: 96 Xj Cherokee Classic

TO SUIT: Wrecking

CONDITION: mostly good, some rust in the roof

REASON FOR SELLING: wrecking

PRICE AND PRICE CONDITIONS: depending on the part, all parts available

LOCATION: Waterford West, Brisbane southside

Hi guys I am wrecking a 1996 Xj Cherokee Classic, it has TJM suspension (~ 3"), 31" tyres on stock calssic alloys (grizzlies?), it has been on gas but some of that is missing but it does have the aux belly tank which is rare!!!
I was told by the previous owner that the head was done recently and that a 2001 model transfer case has been fitted.
As the gas system had packed it in it was sold not running but I managed to sort that out but as yet I haven't driven it but hopefully I will get to try it out tomorrow (have driven backwards and forwards in the driveway only!!!

All parts available, for prices on anything in particular just ask, I will add prices as I get things tested...

Cheers, JJ 0421529749

Quick question, is ZG/J and XJ suspension interchangeable? Might be interested in the lift for my ZG!

The front suspension is much the same (the Zg is a tad heavier) but the rear is different as yours is coil sprung, the Xj's are leaf sprung....

Yeah fair enough, I seen a kit on ebay which was 3.5" or thereabouts lift, which included 4 new shocks and a pair of springs for the fronts, and the oem front springs were used in the back for lift. Thats why I was wondering if front may work or not.

Cheers.

Yes the front will work, I reckon the shock will fit as well but obviously the rear springs won't fit...

How much for the lift? And also how much were you looking at for the tyres? Is it still the standard diff or a different one?
