I'm very happy with the Uneek bar. No problems with approach angle. Much better than stock. Everything well protected. Comes with bash plate and two substantial recovery points stock. ARB does not come with either of those as standard, and only a single recovery point available with that bar. Just things to consider.

The bar is not the problem for approach angle, it's the windscreen washer bottle lhs and if you have air suspension the compressor rhs they both stick down quite low and need protection plates, I just think the Uneek bar looks better

Holly cow I glanced at that pic and thought the light post was your massive UHF antenna. Then looked again and realised not.

Smart looking wk2 mate looks really nice.

Thanks guys, only reason I am thinking of getting the bar is for improved appreach angle.

Just wanted to hear from those with the rival bars given the arb in the photos looks a bit better on that front.

I would not even be pondering the arb if uneeks didnt have that dip in it.

I might sneak away from work for a bit one day next week and take a peek at Stu M's in the flesh.

Then get the bar and snorkle done at the same time if I go with it.

I was a bit apprehensive with the bar dipping below the grill to start with, but I like the style over the ARB one, and I think it looks good now that I have the lightbar there. All personal taste I guess.

I prefer the Uneek design as it is unique and suits the car as opposed to the bland "one design suits everything" lack-of-design approach by ARB.

The dip certainly suits a light bar.

Cheers
