168mm high at the front corner to the first inner guard lip.

I believe you are measuring from the lip of the battery tray? It sits 20mm higher then where the battery sits.

From the top of the lip



From the base of the battery tray to the top of the metal lip of the inner guard (where the terminal is) measures 220mm


Battery height is 225mm


Plenty of room to position battery

Thanks Clarky. That helps heaps. Yes, I measured from the top of the lip on the battery tray. Looks like our tray depths are identical. So glad. Was worried if the bonnet would close without the terminals touching it.
