Default Brake Pedal

Hi all

New here, please be nice

Had the Cherokee for about a week and noticed that the brake pedal has quite a bit of play, brake operation is not impacted, the pedal just feels loose.

Is this a known problem/crap design? I've got down and had a look and nothing stands out as being a miss.

The other annoyance is how to disable the GPS voice on uconnect, I've managed to turn her voice to 0 but it interupts the radio with a dull blank pause where the talking should be. Anyway to disable the voice?

Thanks for the help

Thanks

I've noticed the same thing with the brake pedal in our Trailhawk but haven't had a closer look at it to see if spacing / shimming might be possible.

The odd thing I personally note is that sometimes it's really obvious and other times I just don't notice it at all.

Another thing you may run into is in the driver side footwell, the console side cover (near your Left calf as ur driving) may pop loose at the front corner and "click" on the steering shaft as it rotates. I believe there's a revised / improved cover available but no one who's had it replaced have been kind enough to provide details.
